There's going to be a fair number of signals on the railway. choosing wisely seems appropriate!

I've obtained a few signals to try out. As you can see, they are quite different.....

  1. The one on the left is a Berko model, and is readily available in the UK. An excellent model, to scale and nicely finished. But expensive at £15 per mast.
  2. The middle one is a plastic moulding, obtained from ebay from an overseas supplier. It just looks "wrong".
  3. The one on the right is metallic. I got 6 of them for around £16 (again overseas on ebay). A little larger than the UK sourced one, so not quite to scale; but a sixth of the price. Good enough?

Using This Site

Searching

The web site can be searched: type a search term (e.g. "DAC10") into the search box on the right hand side of the header, and hit enter. the search engine will find words matching the search string in the main body of the site, but it won't search attached documents (e.g. the product manuals).

"Read More"

Many articles are displayed one after the other. some are quite short, and say "read more" at the bottom. Click that to read the remainder of the article.
